Top tips for Easy Home Remedy – Facial Treatment for Beautiful Skin

Being in my fifties, I sometimes reminisce about how easy things were when I was young.  I had less things to worry about, had more energy and time to socialise and have a good time…late nights and all.  And after all that, my tired skin seemed to jump right back to life in just a couple of days.

These days, I’d be lucky if I could even get a decent 4 hours sleep!  The fact is, no matter what our age is, we all have different lifestyle and habits, not to mention commitments and responsibilities – and these will take a toll on how we look and the way we feel.

Regular trips to the salon for facial treatments might burn a hole in our pockets.  So, why not try our top tips on simple (and cheap) home facial treatments to help combat our skin problems.  This weekend, chill and relax at home as you pamper your skin with these home remedy skin care treatments.

  1. Baking soda and water
  2. Oatmeal
  3. Tomato pulp with cucumber juice

METHOD:

1.

Mix some baking soda with water and make a thick paste.  Apply this paste over (cleansed) face and leave it on for 20 minutes.  Then wash and rinse with lukewarm water.

Tomato pulp is an excellent toner.  It helps to unclog the pore and prevents the formation of acne and pimples.  To make this treatment, add some cucumber juice and mix it with some tomato pulp.  Apply it over (cleansed) face and leave it on for 15 minutes.  Then wash and rinse with room temperature water.

ADDITIONAL ADVICE:

When you have any acne or pimple breakouts, delay using any scrub products – this may aggravate the condition and spread bacteria to other part of your face. Once the breakout has subsided, then continue with your weekly facial scrub routine.
